My Garmin Nuvi 855 and case arrived August 31, 2009. I opened the case first. Turns out that was a mistake. Should have checked out the GPS first. I put it on charge for a couple of hours and then turned it on. With in 30 minutes of setting it up, entering Favorites, etc., it completely failed 4 times. The screen goes blank and it shuts off. When it is on and you are viewing the map, it is constantly jumping around as if you are moving. Also the volume is very low compared to my Nuvi 350. Even if the 855 worked, I would not be happy with the volume. I sent it back yesterday and hope to get a full refund.
