The feature I bought this GPS unit for is a fraud. They advertise everywhere that this unit has lane guidance and junction view but it does not have it for Seattle. Seattle is apparently not a big enough city to have it enabled.
I was looking forward to being able to send the sound through the radio, but the built in FM transmitter is too weak to show up on any of the clear frequencies I tried.
The speaker is small and weak which defeats the point of an mp3 player.
The games( not that I care) are mostly crippled demo versions
The points of interest don't have descriptions that show up on the map so you can't see what they are. You get a description if you click on them but of course that is impossible while driving and mostly impossible while stationary.
The voice command is faulty enough to be annoying.
It takes longer to find a gps lock than the Navigon 2100 I had which was stolen. It takes more clicks to set directions than the Navigon 2100. The 2100 which was much cheaper and years older is in fact better in almost every way than this top of the range GarminGet more detail about Garmin nüvi 855 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator with Speech Recognition.
