
Unlike the two 760's I tried and returned, this unit works.
In the dozen times I've used it, it failed to acquire satellites once. I turned it off, and turned it on 15 minutes later, and it worked.
The American English likes to say "lf" instead of "left", and "ri" instead of "right", which is easy to get used to.
It lists Points of Interest that have been gone for years.
It stops computer boot if it's connected to the USB before the computer is running. Unplugging the 855 lets computer boot proceed. Maybe it's just my computer that behaves this way.
It takes a second or two to understand voice commands, so using voice command takes a little patience. I can drive for a minute or so while telling it my destination. It is remarkable that it understands commands without training.
