Shop For Garmin nüvi 855 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator with Speech Recognition

The 855 has wide clear screen, it sync with the Sat quickley, route calculation is fast, and it supports different traffic recievers.
Most of the other features sometimes work, sometimes do not.
Looking on the Garmin 855 photos, it shows the freeway, and the lane that you should use. On the road it hardley comes, and when it does, it is for 12sec. and sometimes too late to change lanes. The 855 display on the top left corner a sign to turn left, right or the lanes on the freeway. The lanes are displayed till the unit guide you to turn (in 2 mi), now find the right lane!
The 855 shows (sometimes) the speed limit. well, it is not always correct (even on roads that are there for 20 years), and it works only on major ones, unlike the Nuvi 760.
The remote control is OK, it recognize ~50% of the commands, the rest you must tuch the screen.
It is not the most accurate GPS, if you ask it "where am I" it misses in 200 to 300ft.
If you select the fastest route, it will preffer freeways, and the calculated route will take you arround the city. If you choose the shortest route, it will take you off the freeway (even if it is the most reasonable way), and guide you through side streets. You can choose one of the two.
My first unit stopped working after 3 weeks, after updating to Ver 4.60, it also use to restart itself in the middle of the route. the second one came yesterday, I hope that it will work longer time.

I think that Garmin should do some homework, and make those features to work.Get more detail about Garmin nüvi 855 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator with Speech Recognition.
