I've had many different GPS's and this is the best so far. The speech recognition works well as long as the radio isn't on. Any extraneous noise can mess things up.
The hardest thing to do with this unit is remember what the verbal commands are so I would suggest you either memorize them or keep a card handy in the car until you do.
